Established in 2009, the Department of Applied Science and Humanities is one of the institute’s foundational academic departments. The department offer courses in Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Management, English, and Social Studies equipping students with essential scientific knowledge, communication skills, and managerial competencies. The department supports engineering and professional programmes by integrating basic sciences and humanities with technical education. Through a contemporary, outcome-based curriculum and innovative teaching methodologies, it fosters critical thinking, analytical abilities, and professional ethics. Laboratories & Infrastructure

Department of Applied Science and Humanities provides a strong academic foundation through quality teaching, practical learning, and skill development. The department is equipped with well-established Physics, Chemistry, and Language Laboratories, offering students valuable hands-on experience that strengthens scientific understanding, experimental skills, and communication proficiency.

Physics Laboratory:
Physics lab equipment includes precision measurement tools, optical instruments, and electronic testing devices. Key items are vernier calipers, optical benches, and Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes (CRO).

Chemistry Laboratory:
The chemistry laboratory features analytical instruments, and water testing units. Key elements include digital measuring tools, safety installations, and dedicated workstations

Language Laboratory:
It is a special classroom equipped with audio technology, where student can focus on LSWR skills with the help of EWL software.
