Civil Engineering B.Tech

Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering at Global Institute of Management & Technology. The word CIVIL describes its whole entity in one word. A professional discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams and buildings. The division of Civil engineering Department has a very strong and qualified faculty force. The Department is dedicated to ensuring rigorous adherence of all the norms laid down by the university. The Department has the requisite laboratories for solid mechanics, building design and drawing where the students are ground in the basics. All laboratories are equipped with modern instruments for conducting the experiments. Engineering programmes are supported by state-of-the-art laboratories that are open to all engineering students. These laboratories and workshop are managed by qualified and dedicated staff. The Department of Civil and Environment engineering offers seven laboratory courses to cover the main topics in the fields of concrete and pavement design, environmental design engineering, mechanics of materials, soil mechanics, hydraulics, field surveying and engineering graphics. The lab equipment is contentiously upgraded and updated to ensure that our students are exposed to the most recent and advanced systems. Highly qualified faculties and technical staffs create real life scenarios to enhance practical knowledge of the students.
