Computer Science Engineering

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering began its journey with the inception of the College. The department is equipped with more than 250 numbers of computers connected with LAN and TCP/IP addresses. The department has- 20 MBPS Leased line internet connectivity. 2 MBPS Spare Connection. The students are exposed to a working environment with high end servers. CISCO routers and operating system viz, Windows 7, Linux, Mint Linux 17.3 and application software viz. C-C++(GCC/G++), Java, R, Python, Visual Studio compiler, Dot Net Programming, Auto CAD, Oracle etc. In the Central Computer Centre there are 60 nos. of computers for the use of 1st year students for regular practice. GIMT established the department of Computer Science & Engineering in the academic year 2010-2011 with state-of-art laboratories infrastructure and blend of highly qualified and experienced faculty members with good industrial and IT exposure to nourish the budding engineers to generate highly skilled manpower both for IT industry and research in cutting-edge technologies.
